Rejoice, rejoice always!
Rejoice in the Lord at all times!

Do not be afraid or anxious;
we have every reason to rejoice.

We have a Lord who carries all our burdens for us.
So rejoice!

The troubles and hardships of this earthly life
will last only a little while;
they will fade away like a dream.

When we shed tears, the Lord is moved with compassion.
We have the Lord with us—so rejoice!

The Lord will come again,
coming in the clouds.
We have this hope—so rejoice!

Prepare yourselves, beloved! Prepare yourselves!
Get ready to welcome the Lord when He comes.
