Meaning:

1.
O precious blood of Jesus,
Shed by the Lord of all the earth
To cleanse every stain of sin
And bring salvation to humanity.

2.
My soul, remember what the world did to Jesus.
Remember the precious blood
That our Lord shed
Through such deep pain and suffering.

3.
Like a pack of wild wolves
Surrounding and tearing apart a helpless sheep,
The wicked surrounded Him and beat Him together.
O precious blood that flowed
Through all that suffering!

4.
O precious blood that flowed
When the King was struck and wounded
By a crown of thorns,
Piercing His holy head
Inside and out.

5.
O precious blood of our Savior,
Shed when cruel men
Drove long iron nails
Through His hands and feet.

6.
O precious blood that flowed
From His five wounds,
Breaking the power of the deceiving Satan
And driving away the darkness,
Bringing freedom and light to us.
