My sorrow is gone, my joy has come!
Joy has filled my heart—Hallelujah!
Jesus forgave my sins
and completely saved me.
He has given me true joy!

I was born in sin
and grew up under its curse.
But my great Savior
shed His precious blood
and redeemed even a sinner like me.

I had lost my way,
wandering helplessly and without direction.
Then Jesus, the Shepherd,
who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life,
came looking for me, found me,
and held me close to Himself.

When I face trials
and when my friends turn away,
why should I be afraid?
He tells me, “I am here beside you.”
With His loving hands,
He supports me and leads me onward.

I am experiencing day by day
a joy so great that no one can take it away.
These blessings of God
can never be stolen from me.

To all who are suffering
under the burden and curse of sin:
this blessed gift is freely offered.
Now is the time—
turn your heart to Him
and receive this salvation.
