The Lord died upon the cross,

And rose again.
He now lives in glory.

Jesus alone is the Way,
The Gate to salvation,
And the source of eternal life.
He is the Savior
Who offers salvation to everyone.

If you reject the salvation
Offered to your soul,
You will face the consequences of sin
And eternal judgment.
The hymn describes this
As suffering in the fire of hell,
Day and night.

Do not wait until the final judgment
And suffer regret.
Receive Jesus as your own Savior today.
Then your journey's end
Will be blessed and joyful.
