1. Wake up, all you who belong together!
Rise and live together in unity.
Turn away from every kind of evil,
and endure the hardships that come your way.

2. These are days when evil is increasing.
People put on outward appearances,
while deception grows within their hearts.
Falsehood is becoming attractive to many,
and corruption is springing up from their lips.

3. Difficult times will come.
Violent and ruthless people will become more numerous.
Division and conflict between groups will increase.
But we who belong to heaven—
must we become discouraged and lose heart?

4. Stand against the enemy, Satan.
Reject everything that is opposed to the truth.
Draw ever closer to Christ,
and continually receive strength from Him.

5. We must overcome evil by doing good.
Let our gentleness and kindness shine.
We must remember that we are people of heaven,
so that even those who belong to the world
may come and bow before God.
