The day when my Beloved will come is not far away;
The city of Zion is not far from us.

1.
When we finish our race
And reach the other shore,
To that home where there are no tears at all,
All our troubles will disappear in a moment.

2.
Today we endure rejection and humiliation for His sake
And continue faithfully in His work.
On that day, He will reward us
For everything we have done for Him.

3.
Today there is darkness everywhere on earth,
And there is little peace to be found.
Apart from the coming of our Lord Jesus,
We have no other hope in this world.

4.
Knowing that these are the last days,
Let us return to our first love
And live for the glory of His holy name,
Making the most of the days He gives us here on earth.
