God knows—yes, God knows.
My Lord knows all about my future.
So why should I allow my heart
To be troubled by worry?

1.
I do not know what tomorrow will bring,
But the One who cares for me already knows.
He is beyond and above time itself;
Therefore, I have no reason to worry.

2.
Before I take each step along the way,
The light He gives me is enough for me.
I ask for nothing more from this world.
Let Him do whatever He desires,
According to His perfect will.

3.
He is near to those whose hearts are broken,
And day by day He carries their burdens.
The One who redeemed me
By shedding His precious blood
Cares for me with a tender and compassionate heart.

4.
Through my experience, I have learned
That He will never allow anything into my life
Without knowing that it is right for me.
He has my good in mind in everything,
So I have nothing to fear
Because of what He chooses to do.

5.
One day, when I finally come into His presence,
I will understand the greatness
Of His merciful care for me.
With overflowing joy and wonder,
I will look back and see
All that He has done throughout the years.
