   Kkutharam thannarulaa-mennulloru vaagdatham pol dayavaay-
    
2. Thaathanum maathaavum neeyenikkallaathe
   Bhoothalam thannilille-veraarumen Aathankam neekkiduvaan-
    
3. Nithyathayil ninnullathyantha snehathaal
   Shathruthaye akatti-enikku nee puthrathwam thannathinaal
    
4. Bhruthyaranekarin praarthdana kettu nee
   Utharam nalkiyathor-thathyaadaram thruppaadam thedidunnen-
    
5. Kallante yaachana kettullalinja nin
   Thulyamillaa dayayor-thithaa vannen nallavane sabhayam
    
6. Yeshuvin moolamen yaachana nalkume-
   Nnaashayil kenjchidunnen-allaathennil leshavum nanmayille-

Meaning:

Lord, please hear my prayer!
Please answer my request!

1.
According to Your promise
That You will answer the things
We ask in the name of Your Son,
Please, in Your mercy, hear me
And grant my request.

2.
You alone are my Father and Mother;
Apart from You,
There is no one on this earth
Who can take away my fears
And calm my troubled heart.

3.
Because of Your immeasurable love
That comes from eternity,
You removed my hostility toward You
And gave me the privilege
Of becoming Your child.

4.
I remember how You have heard
The prayers of many of Your servants
And given them answers.
Remembering this,
I come humbly
And seek Your holy feet.

5.
I remember how You heard
The prayer of the thief on the cross
And were moved with compassion.
Remembering Your incomparable mercy,
I come before You,
O Good and Gracious Lord.

6.
I plead with hope,
Trusting that You will answer my prayer
Because of Jesus.
For apart from You,
There is nothing good in me.
