Jesus the King is coming to give us our reward.
The day is not far away
When all our troubles will finally end.

1.
He has prepared new homes for us
In His heavenly dwelling.
He will come in the clouds
With the angels around Him
To gather us to Himself.

2.
Those who endured rejection and suffering on earth
For the sake of His holy name—
He will bring them into His presence
And wipe away their tears with His own hands.

3.
Those who caused great suffering
To His own people
Will be brought to judgment.
He will come and restrain the wicked
And bring their evil to an end.

4.
Just as God’s will is perfectly carried out in heaven,
So His will will be fulfilled on earth.
God’s kingdom will be established
Here on earth in all its fullness.

5.
All the ages will pass away,
And everything we see today will disappear.
Then a new age will begin—
A new era that will never end.
And we will dwell with Him
Throughout eternity.
