   Nannaayi jeevippaa raakane
   Nee krupa thannenne aashirvadikkanam
   Innanthyatholamen daivame-

Meaning:

As the golden light shines
And I awaken in this beautiful dawn,
I praise You, O God.
You have helped me see the morning
After the deep darkness of night had passed.
I praise You!

My God, grant me Your grace
To walk in Your ways today.
Give me everything I need each day,
And sustain me always, O God.

May everything I do
Bring honor and glory to Your name.
May my life always be pleasing to You.
Guard my heart so that I will not
Be distracted or lost in the desires of this world.

May I draw closer to You today
And live better than I did yesterday.
