O Jesus, Lord of my life,
You alone are enough for me in this world;
Your feet are my refuge and my way.

You are enough; I need no one else.
Why should I place my trust
In people of this fragile world,
Who change from one moment to the next?

Even if my friends abandon me,
You will remain beside me as my help.
Even in times of severe famine,
You will protect and provide for me,
Just as You cared for Elijah through the ravens.

3.
You can put out the fire
And shut the mouths of lions to protect me.
You give me strength against my enemies
And empower me to stand and fight.

4.
Even if great armies and enemy chariots
Come against me, I will not be afraid.
For Your chariots, far greater in number,
Stand around me like a mighty wall.

5.
Because such a wonderful Lord
Is now my Friend,
No matter how many songs I sing in Your praise,
My heart can never feel that I have sung enough.
