1.Ponneshu narar thiru baki maranam ninappan
   Thannan-oru niyamam athishayame

2.Ponnaya thiru jadam nararkku vendi nurukki
   Onnode thiru raktham chorinjathume

3.Appam onn-eduthavan prathichu njurukki nalki
   Thruppadam thozhunna thannude shishyarkku

4.Kaasayil drasharasam pakarnnuyarthi aruli
   Easoyin raktham shudhar othirippaan

5.Maahathmyam athin anavadhi unnu rahasyame
   Ekan poyallo bali kazhivathinay

Meaning:

1.O precious Jesus, You gave us a wonderful command
To remember Your sacrificial death.

2.Your precious body was broken for all humanity,
And Your holy blood was poured out completely.

3.He took the bread, prayed over it, broke it, and gave it
To His disciples who worshipped at His feet.

4.He poured the wine into the cup, lifted it up, and blessed it,
That the holy ones might partake of the blood of Jesus.

5.How profound and boundless is the mystery of this great sacrament!
The One and Only has gone forth to offer Himself as the sacrifice.
