   Thiru vee-ndeduppaal-viduvi-chu bhavaan--
    
4. Sharanamenikku bhavaan paramoru gathiyilla
   Paramaa-thmaja ni-nnadikoo-ppidunnen--
    
5. Thirusareera menikkaay kurishathil baliyaakki
   Thirunee-thi phali-ppathinnaay shramicha--
    
6. Marichu thirike jeevi-cha marthyanaay bhavichathinaal
   Marana-the neekkaa-nadhikaa-ramaarnna--

Meaning:

O Son of the Almighty! Worship and honor belong to You forever,
O Son of the Almighty, to You I offer my reverence.

To reveal the glory of the Most High upon this earth,
You were born as a human being,
The heavenly Lord and King.

2.
Because the dominion of darkness had spread among all humanity,
You came in grace,
Protecting and preserving those who were under its power.

3.
From the death that was the result of suffering and sin,
You delivered us
Through Your holy redemption.

4.
You are my refuge; there is no greater destination for me.
O Son of the Almighty,
I call upon Your holy feet and seek shelter in You.

5.
You offered Your holy body as a sacrifice for me upon the cross,
And labored so that Your holy righteousness
Might be fulfilled and brought to fruition.

6.
Because You died and rose again,
Becoming alive among mortals,
You gained authority and power
Over death and destroyed its dominion.
