Lord Jesus, source of mercy,
grant Your blessings to this married couple.
Pour out Your grace upon them day by day
like abundant rain, O Son of God.

May these two, Your servants,
live together in unity and harmony,
and may they remain in love and affection
until the end of their lives.

O Most High, fill them each day
with Your Holy Spirit.
May they continually remember
and honor Your holy name
and live their lives in Your presence.

Just as the Lord Jesus loved His beloved Church
and gave Himself to death for her,
may this husband likewise love
and cherish his wife
with self-sacrificing love.

And may this woman, Your servant,
faithfully respect and follow her husband,
just as Sarah joyfully followed Abraham
and lived faithfully beside him.

In this world, full of changes and uncertainties,
may these two always draw close
under the shelter of Your abundant mercy,
and live together in peace, love,
and lasting happiness.
