Joy, joy—what a blessed life this is!

He gives me more trials so that I may love Him more;
Through them I receive His blessings, and He takes away my worries.
His presence alone is enough for me.

In my weakness, He gives me grace and sustains me;
He leads me safely along my way.
I will no longer grieve and let my heart be troubled
Over all the things I cannot control.

Under the scorching sun of the wilderness, He keeps me from growing weary;
He shelters me beneath His wings.
He draws me close to His loving heart
And spreads His banner of love over me.

Turning away from the pleasures of the flesh,
I will overcome the armies of the enemy.
Jesus is my victorious King and Lord;
So I will live in His presence without fear.
