1.  Pakalil meghathanalaay nee raathriyilagni sthambhavumaay
   Rakshayeki yenne nee parane! sukhakshemamaayi kaathu
   Vaazhka vaazhka vaazhka parane!
   Mochanamekiya sarvveshaa!
   Sharanam nee enikku parane!raavum pakalumellaam
    
2. Geeruvaam manna thannenikku paarayil ninnu jalameki
   Poshippichenn aatmaave parane! shaanthi neeyekiyullil
    
3. Mohana aathma jeevithathil ennaatma deha dehiyil nee
   Swarggajeevan thannenne parane! jaagrathayaayi kaathu
    
4. Kanaan deshe nadathiyenne shudharod onnichiruthiyenne
   Sthothram sthothram ennennum parane Saashtaamgam vanangidunnu

Meaning:

By Day You Were My Cloud of Shade,
By Night You Were My Pillar of Fire;
You Protected Me and Kept Me Safe and Well, O Lord.

O Lord! You reign
O Lord of all, who has given me salvation!
You are my refuge, O Lord,
Day and night, at all times.

You gave me water from the rock
In the wilderness, the land of thirst,
And nourished me, O Lord.
You have filled my soul with peace within.

3.
In this beautiful life of the Spirit,
You have given heavenly life
To my spirit and body, O Lord;
You have watched over me carefully
And kept me safe.

4.
You led me into the land of Canaan
And allowed me to dwell among Your holy people.
Praise, praise, forever, O Lord!
I fall before You in humble worship.
