Whether things go my way or go against me,
Jesus is enough for me.

1.
He is the Friend who will never leave me,
The helper of the helpless who seek His feet.
Whatever sorrows and burdens may come,
I have no reason to be troubled—Jesus is enough for me.

2.
He is always near to care for me day by day.
I will not let my heart be troubled;
He is the One I rely on.
With His compassionate hands He will protect me.
Who else could care for me like He does?

3.
He is the bright light along the darkened path;
He is shade from the scorching sun
In the desert heat of the day.
He is water for my thirsty soul,
And the living Word that gives me new strength.

4.
One day I will see and worship
His holy body that was wounded for me.
On that day, my tears will finally cease,
And I will live forever
In the radiant glory of Christ the King.
