Great destruction is coming; there is no time to waste.
Do not spend your precious time
on things that have no lasting value.

Like the roaring of the sea,
like the sound of thunder,
the terrifying Day of Judgment
is drawing nearer and nearer.

God continually weighs
your ways and the deepest parts of your heart
on His scales.

4.
The Lord is calling you, a mortal,
to the way of truth
and to eternal salvation.

5.
So that you will not become a victim
of the flames of hell,
be reconciled to God
and seek His mercy.

6.
Do not remain drowsy any longer.
Open your eyes quickly.
Do not waste the brief time
that you have been given for salvation.
