   Vazhi pishakaathe nadathidum
   Pozhiyum sadaa krupa maaripol then-
   Mozhikal thuki thaangidum
    
4. Paapa bhaaram peri valanjini
   Shaapa theeyil veeneriyaathe naam
   Krupayeridum kristheshuvin
   Kurishil vishraam nedidaam-

Meaning:

Jesus is the refuge for sinners,
The Savior who came to this world
And gave His life for us.
The Most High humbled Himself
Even to the cross,
Remembering and caring for me.

1.
He came into this world
To take away the sin of humanity.
He gave His life,
Then rose again on the third day
And ascended into heaven.

2.
He has always existed;
He is Almighty,
The Creator of heaven and earth.
What an amazing wonder—
The Supreme Lord came down
To seek me, a lowly sinner!

3.
He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
He will guide us
Without allowing us to lose our way.
His grace continually pours down like rain,
And He sustains us
With words sweeter than honey.

4.
Let us not continue struggling
Under the burden of sin
And fall into the fire of its curse.
Instead, let us find rest
At the cross of Christ Jesus,
Where His abundant grace is found.

Jesus is the refuge for sinners—
the One who came down from the highest place
to save us and give us rest.
