    Kumbhinee naadhane! nin mumbilirikkumaver-
     
11. Ulpraveshippichu nin salpurathilavare
    Thwalpaarppinaay sthdaapicha shudhasthdalathu thanne
    Kelppulla ninnavakaa shaalpetharaadri thannil
    Nilpaanarulum bhavaan salpaalakanaay vaazhum-

Meaning:

I will sing unto the Lord Most High;
Unto Him I shall continually give the victory.
He has triumphed gloriously;
With horse and rider He has cast them into the sea.
He has cast them into the sea, and in His glory and power
He has prevailed mightily.

1.
The Lord is my strength and my song of praise;
He has become my salvation and my God.
Therefore I will prepare a dwelling place for Him;
He is the God of my fathers—
Ah! I will exalt and praise Him.

2.
The Lord is a warrior;
Yahweh is His name.
He swiftly cast Pharaoh’s army and his chariots
Into the depths of the sea;
The leaders of his armies sank beneath the waters,
And they went down into the depths of the Red Sea.

3.
The depths covered them;
They sank to the bottom like stones.
O Lord, Thy right hand is glorious in battle;
Thy mighty right hand has shattered the enemy
And crushed them completely.

4.
By Thy great majesty Thou hast cast down
Those who rose against Thee.
Thou hast sent forth Thy burning wrath,
And it consumed them like stubble,
Like straw before a blazing fire.

5.
At the blast of the breath from Thy nostrils,
The waters were gathered together;
The flowing waters stood in a heap;
The depths of the sea became firm
And stood frozen in the heart of the sea.
Blessed art Thou, O Most High King,
By whose grace these things have come to pass.

6.
The enemy said,
“I will pursue them; I will overtake them.
I will divide the spoil;
My soul shall be satisfied with them.
I will draw my sword,
And my hand shall destroy them.”

7.
Thou didst blow with Thy wind,
And the sea covered them;
They sank like lead in the mighty waters.
Who is like Thee, O Lord,
Among all the gods?
Who is like Thee—
Glorious in holiness,
Fearful in praises,
Doing wonders without equal?

8.
Thou didst stretch out Thy right hand,
And the earth swallowed them.
By Thy mercy Thou hast led forth
The people whom Thou hast redeemed.
Thou hast guided them by Thy strength
To the dwelling place of Thy holiness.
The nations will hear and tremble;
The inhabitants of Philistia will be filled with sorrow.

9.
The princes of Edom will be troubled with fear;
The mighty men of Moab will tremble;
All the inhabitants of Canaan
Will melt away in terror.
Fear and dread will seize them;
By the greatness of Thine arm
They will become still as a stone.

10.
Until Thy people pass over—
The people whom Thou hast purchased—
They will remain motionless and silent,
Like stones, because of the greatness of Thine arm.
O Lord, Master of the earth,
They will stand in awe before Thee.

11.
Thou wilt bring them in
And plant them upon Thy own mountain,
In the holy place which Thou hast established
For Thy dwelling.
By Thy mighty power and authority,
Thou wilt establish them
Upon Thy chosen sanctuary,
And Thou, O Lord,
Shalt reign as their good and gracious Shepherd.
