“I am coming to the Cross”

1. Njaan varunnu krooshinkal sadhu ksheenan kurudan
   Sarvvavum enikkechil poornna raksha kaanum njaan
   
   Sharanamen karthaave! vaazthappetta kunjaade!
   Thaazhmayaay kumbidunnu rakshikka-yenne-ippol
    
2. Vaanjchichu ninneyethra dosham vaanennil ethra?
   Imbamaay chollunn eshu njaan kazhukidum ninne
    
3. Muttum njaan tharunnitha bhoonikshepam muzhuvan
   Deham dehi samastham ennekkum nintethu njaan
    
4. Vaagdatham ennaashrayam raktham upayogichu
   Poozhiyil thaazhthunn-enne yeshuvodu krooshichu
    
5. Yeshu vannenn-aatmathe nirackkunnu poorthiyaay
   Sukhamundu poornnamaay-mahathwam kunjaattinnu
    
6. Ennaashrayam yeshuvil-vaazthappetta kunjaattil
   Thaazhmayaay kumbidunnu rakshikkunnippoleshu

Meaning:

1.
I come to the cross,
Poor, weary, and blind;
With nothing of my own to offer,
Yet there I will find complete salvation.

My Lord, You are my refuge!
Blessed Lamb of God!
I bow before You in humility;
Save me now.

2.
How long I have longed for You,
Yet how much evil has ruled within me!
Jesus speaks so tenderly:
“I will wash you clean.”

3.
I surrender everything to You—
All my treasures here on earth,
My body, my soul, my whole being;
I am Yours forever.

4.
Your promise is my hope;
I trust in the power of Your blood.
You have brought me down into the dust
And crucified my old self with Jesus.

5.
Jesus fills my soul completely;
I am made whole and fully satisfied.
There is complete peace and joy;
Glory to the Lamb!

6.
My trust is in Jesus,
In the blessed Lamb of God.
I bow before Him in humility;
Jesus saves me even now.
