Why should I be anxious in this world
When the Lord of all creation watches over me?
He is my Father, and I am His child;
Therefore, I am truly blessed.

1.
The precious blood of the Lord of Calvary
Was given as the price for me.
He paid the price and redeemed me;
Would He ever abandon me now?

2.
When sorrow fills my heart
And my spirit is troubled and broken,
He gently holds me, comforts me,
And tenderly cares for me
With His great compassion.

3.
My Father has placed around me
An army of angels to guard me.
He gives me His Word
As a lamp to light my path
And leads me safely onward.

4.
Because His everlasting arms
Are always underneath me,
I can live in comfort every day.
The Lord who sustains the whole earth
Is my refuge and my trust.
