‘When I survey’

1.  Nisseemamaam nin snehathe prakaashippikkum krooshine
   Darshicha neram naadhane ninakku njaanadheenanaay
    
2. Ee bhoomiyil nikshepamaay njaanennivanna sarvvavum
   Ganichidunnu nashtamaay ee darshanam mughaantharam
    
3. Pramodamaay ennaayussil snehicha vyarthda kaaryangal
   Nikrushtamenn arinjaham vedinjidunn asheshavum
    
4. Nin krooshil njaan nirantharam prashamsichidum rakshaka
   Mattonnilum enmaanasam mahathwamaa grahikkola
    
5. Agaadhama prameyamaam ee snehamarhikkunnidam
   En deham dehi maanasam sampoornnamaay samasthavum
    
6. Saashtaamgam veenu paadathil vanangidunnu bhakthiyil
   Ninakkum nin pithaavinum mahathwam daivaathmaavinum

Meaning:

1.
When I look upon the cross
That reveals Your boundless love, O Lord,
I surrender myself completely to You.

2.
Everything I once considered
My treasure and gain in this world,
I now count as loss
Because of what I have seen in the cross.

3.
The things I once loved and pursued
And considered the joy of my life
I now recognize as worthless.
I gladly leave them behind
Because of what the cross has shown me.

4.
I will continually boast
Only in Your cross, my Savior.
My heart desires no greatness
Or glory in anything else.

5.
Such deep and immeasurable love
Is worthy of everything I have.
So I offer You my whole being—
My body, my soul, my mind,
And all that I am.

6.
I fall before Your feet
And bow down in worship and devotion.
To You, to Your Father,
And to the Holy Spirit
Be all glory and honor,
Forever.
