Lead me always according to Your will.
Not according to my own desires,
But according to Your will,
My Father, my Lord!

I do not ask for a life
Filled with comfort and pleasure,
Great wealth or honor,
Or a life completely free from trouble.

Whether You lead me through darkness and fear,
Or into places of light and joy,
Whatever You command for me,
I will receive it all as a blessing.

I do not know what is truly good for me,
And I do not have enough wisdom, O Lord.
For the sake of Your holy name,
Turn me and lead me
