I come near to You, my Lord;

You shed Your blood for me.
Even in my lowly and broken state,
You remembered me.

And struggled helplessly in despair.
But You came down to me
And reached out Your hand to lift me up.

The sweet voice of Your great love
Captured my heart.
And I, too, have become
Your beloved child.
