Moments, moments—
The precious moments of life
Are flowing away, never to return.
Do not become so absorbed
In the golden dreams of your heart
That you forget the Lord.

Open the door of your heart,
The innermost room of your soul.
Let the light of mercy
Show you the way.
The compassionate Savior
Stretches out His loving arms
And, with His abundant grace,
Will draw you close to Himself.

Along the dark paths of life,
God has lit the lamp of love
With His own holy hands.
He will make you a new creation,
Wash away every stain,
And lead you beneath
The shadow of the cross.

Moments of life are passing away—
never to return.
Do not let the fleeting dreams of this world
make you forget Jesus.
