1.
My soul, which You have redeemed,
Will rejoice and proclaim Your name.
Whenever I meditate upon Your love,
As deep and unfathomable as the depths of the sea,
My heart is filled with wonder.
On the cross I see eternal love,
Divine love that seeks the sinner. I will sing of it;
Today and forever, throughout this world, I will proclaim it—
With joy, with celebration,
Because of Your love, because of Your love.
2.
When the Lord of all proclaims His name
Throughout this boundless universe,
He Himself had no place on earth
To rest His head,
Yet He endured suffering to seek and save the sinner.
3.
The Son of God, the Lord of heaven,
Whom the angels in heaven praise,
The Ruler and Lord of the earth,
Came to this world as a human being
And endured suffering to win the sinner.
4.
Between heaven and earth,
On Golgotha, among two criminals,
He poured out the blood from His own side
And gave His life,
Enduring all this suffering to save the sinner.
