With a grateful heart, I will sing
and praise King Jesus.
I will always remember
the love of the Most High,
who came seeking me and reached out to me.

When I was running without knowing which way to go,
my Lord, the Mighty One, called to me,
“Come near to Me.”
The sound of His voice became a refuge before me,
and when I came near to Him,
my heart was filled with great joy.

When the path before me was growing darker and darker,
my good Savior gave me His promise,
“I am with you.”
Yesterday, today, and forever,
He is never a stranger to me.
The words spoken by my Jesus
are my strength and support.

3.
The burdens I carry in this world
will one day be gone,
and He will wipe away all my tears.
I will sing, “Hallelujah!”
He will draw me close to Himself,
and throughout all my days
I will sing His praises with joy.
