Awake and rise,
To praise our gracious Lord
On this beautiful morning.

The troublesome darkness has disappeared,
And the earth is now shining brightly
With beautiful light and hope.

The sun has come,
Breaking through the waves of deep darkness.
Do not waste this precious time
When God's mercy is shining upon you.

Look at the beauty of this morning!
Let your heart remember
The Almighty who makes
All these wonderful sights possible.

With its gentle rays,
The young sun seems to bathe the earth
In a sea of golden light.
In the same way, Jesus shines upon us.

The flowers are blooming,
Their sweet fragrance fills the air,
And tender green grass
Spreads like a fresh green carpet everywhere.

The birds are singing,
Gathering together in their places,
While God's redeemed people
Seek to offer Him praise and worship.

The sparkling drops of dew
Shining upon the earth
Remind me of the Lord of Israel,
Like precious jewels glistening in the morning.

The night is almost over,
And the day is drawing near.
The message of God's Spirit
Is sounding throughout the earth.

For those who have been lying
Under the chains of night,
The trumpet of Joel is sounding—
Proclaiming eternal freedom.
