Meaning:

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ,
Who conquered death!
Praise Jesus, the great King,
The First and the Last,
The Eternal King!

1.
He is the heart and fulfillment of the Scriptures.
He Himself is the way to the salvation of humankind.
He endured great sorrow and suffering
And took away the sickness and brokenness of humanity.

2.
Because He carried our sins,
Bore our curse,
And died upon the cross,
The wrath of God that stood against sinners
Was completely removed.

3.
In a world that was without spiritual life,
He came to give life.
This Lamb willingly tasted the bitterness of death
So that life might be given to us.

4.
Upon the cross, He crushed the head
And defeated the power of Satan, the enemy.
He won the victory with triumph and joy.
Hallelujah!

5.
He removed the hostility through the cross
And reconciled those who had been enemies of God.
Through His blood shed on the cross,
He brought us into peace and fellowship with the Father.

He has ascended and is seated
At the right hand of His holy Father.
