Jesus is my refuge;
He hides me beneath the shelter of His wings.
He never forgets me here,
But remains faithfully by my side.

1.
He is my perfect example,
Teaching me to follow Him each day.
He leads me with His blessing
Along the path of a joyful life.

2.
When many kinds of opposition
Rise against me along my way,
The Most High protects me with His shield
And gives me strength to stand firm without fear.

3.
The God who called me is faithful.
He will not let me wander helplessly along the way.
He will never leave me or forsake me;
He holds my right hand and leads me onward.

4.
Here I wait, counting the days and nights,
Longing to see my gracious Lord,
Who promised that He would come again soon
In the open expanse of heaven.
