Meaning:
1
O Jerusalem above! When all my days are ended,
Lord, receive me into Your loving arms.
Shower upon me your sure mercies each day
On this lotus flower, Your Church.
What else this child have except Your loving care?
2
Ah! Even if you lie troubled among the kitchen vessels,
the Lord of heaven will look upon you with compassion.
When your Beloved pours the sweetness of His love
into your heart, you will receive power of the Holy Spirit;
and you too will rise and soar into heaven
like a dove flying into the skies.
3
With wings more beautiful than the radiant rays of the young sun,
you will rise and enter the heaven.
Not only that, your judgment will cast down Babylon—
the prostitute who wears gold ornaments, along with her
children into the depths of the sea.
Lord, grand this child your divine fellowship to see these events.
4
Can anyone imagine the path you will travel,
beyond the millions of heavenly planets?
Can the human mind comprehend the heights
to which the glory of your blessedness will rise?
Can anyone praise that glory enough?
can any human tongue ever describe such joy?
5
Those who dwell in the realms of light
described in shadows of different colors such as
White, red, green, yellow, blue, and purple—
They will offer you their salute and songs of victory
as your adornment, O Mother!
Heaven itself will honor and serve you,
O righteous one.
6
Ah! When you approach the bridal chamber,
O glorious Queen,
the heavenly maidens will come near with boundless joy
and deep reverence to behold you.
Your Beloved will take your hand with delight
and lead you into the eternal dwelling of love.
7
O Mother, the divine sages are immersed and lost
in the stream of goodness flowing from your face.
There is no new science to approach
the sweetness of your gracious words;
But they donot agree to it.
Those who think they are learned,
do not realize how little they know.
8
Lord, I cannot fully express Your glory.
One day a new heaven and a new earth will appear,
The dead will rise again, clothed in new bodies,
and stand in everlasting life.
On that day, I, this servant will also be
united with You and disappear into You.
9
You alone are my true Mother,
and forever my eternal King is Jesus Christ.
By Your gracious glance,
drive away every sorrow and every grief.
You are still the merciful Father
whose compassion is beyond measure.
Blessed forever be the name
of my heavenly Father.
