Salute to You, Immanuel,
Who came to this earth alone
For the sake of humanity,
O exalted Lord and King!

1.
You alone are worthy
To receive all wisdom, riches, and honor.
In heaven and on earth,
You are worthy of all praise.

2.
You endured great suffering
And carried the burden of my debts.
And on the mighty cross
You paid it all, leaving nothing to fear.

3.
You became despised, rejected, and helpless,
Yet You are the One worthy of all honor.
When I think of what You endured for me,
My heart overflows with gratitude.

4.
Because You remembered me in my lowly condition,
You humbled Yourself even to death on the cross.
When I think of how far You humbled Yourself for me,
I can only give You thanks.

5.
You lifted me from the garbage heap
And gave me a place among those who are honored.
What an amazing thing You have done for me,
O Lord!

6.
I am not worthy of such a wonderful gift.
Yet You showed me Your grace,
O my Lord and my Giver of Life.

7.
I fall at Your feet
And bow before You in worship.
What else could I possibly give You
For all that You have done for me?
