Meaning:

1.
Until Immanuel comes and reigns on this earth,
There will never be lasting goodness or peace in the world.
People may search for peace,
But confusion and unrest will continue,
And nothing will truly come of their efforts.

2.
Nations are becoming angry,
And conflicts and turmoil are increasing everywhere in the world.
Rulers are searching for solutions,
But they remain divided among themselves.

3.
It is the desire of Jesus, the Anointed One,
That He should come and reign over this earth.
This is the decree of the Almighty;
It cannot be changed.
It will surely come to pass.

4.
The One who brought salvation to humanity
Will establish His reign in Zion
And continue to rule forever.
The day is drawing near
When His princes will reign with Him.
