Meaning:
Listen carefully to this teaching about the fifth kingdom;
do not let it pass unnoticed.
If you listen with an open heart,
it will fill your heart with joy.
1. In the days of Adam, at the beginning of creation,
God declared His authority over the earth:
“You are to rule over it.”
But through sin, humanity lost
the kingdom that belonged to the soul.
2. The mighty king of Babylon,
powerful as a lion, established his empire.
He was the golden head of the great statue.
In 606 B.C., he established his kingdom
and ruled it according to his own will.
3. The silver empire, Persia came afterward.
In 538 B.C. it began its rule,
after Babylon had been overthrown.
Like a bear it ruled for two hundred eight years,
but was known for its harsh and murderous character.
4. Then came the Greek armies,
elagant and powerful like a leopard,
They arose from Macedonia
and, in a remarkably short time,
established an extraordinary empire.
5. The great and glorious ruler Alexander,
a mighty conqueror of unmatched power,
died at the height of his achievements.
After his death, his kingdom was divided into four parts,
represented as the bronze kingdom.
6. In the thirties of B.C, Rome destroyed the Greek kingdom.
The Romans established one great empire,
an empire strong and terrible,
with the hardness of iron.
7. In A.D. 364, the Roman Empire was divided into two.
Then the iron became mixed with clay,
losing its strength,
and the empire broke apart into many kingdoms.
8. Then a stone comes down from the mountain,
strikes the feet of the statue,
and crushes all these kingdoms.
The stone then becomes a great mountain
and fills the whole earth,
remaining forever as the ruling kingdom.
9. In the days of the kingdoms of this world,
God will establish an everlasting kingdom on earth.
It will never be handed over to another nation.
Remember this truth:
this eternal kingdom belongs forever
to the children of the Most High.
