One day, we will all live in perfect blessing and joy.

1. This earth, now filled with the curse of sin,
   will pass away and be made new.
2. These present troubles and afflictions will disappear,
   and the heavens will be made pure.
3. There will be no more tears,
   no crying, and no sorrow.
4. On that day,
   the river of the water of life will flow
   through the holy land.
5. The Tree of Life will always flourish there,
   bearing abundant fruit.
6. We will sit in its shade
   and rest in comfort and peace.
7. We will live as kings forever,
   reigning in the presence of God.
8. My dear ones, I will see myself there
   together with you.
9. And you will see me too,
   in that heavenly capital, the New Jerusalem.
10. There I will embrace and kiss
    your precious faces.
11. This body, now filled with decay,
    will be destroyed.
12. And our Lord will give us
    a new and glorified body.
