When darkness makes every eye grow dim,
I have an eye in heaven that never grows dim.

There is an ear in heaven, wide open and attentive to me.

When human hands grow weak and helpless,
I have a hand in heaven that never grows weary.

When human love fades away,
There is a love in heaven that never grows empty or runs dry.

O troubled people, burdened with anxious thoughts within!
The Mighty One's eyes are watching over you
Along this difficult earthly journey.

His mercy is complete,
And He is certainly near to comfort you.
The Lord is always close at hand.

Let us come before Him in prayer with thanksgiving,
And always place our trust in His Word.

Trust the Lord, who is completely worthy of our faith.
Live each day trusting Him
And following His ways.
