   Bhaanuvin deepthipol ninnu bhaass arulidumithennum
    
3. Bahuvidha kashtamaam kaippukal moolam
   Madhuram asheshavum poke madhuvithu nalkidum chaale
    
4. Niswatha ninne nikrunaakkumbol
   Ratna vyaapaaritha thanne prathna dhaniyaakkum ninne
    
5. Ajnjanu jnjaanam andhanu nayanam
   Nalikidum eeshwara vachanam pulkidunnu vijnjarithine

Meaning:

1. If you become familiar with it and treasure it continually,
   It will bring many blessings;
   You will find it a priceless treasure.

2. When the light of heaven fades and darkness comes,
   It shines brightly like the radiance of the sun,
   Continually giving light and guidance.

3. When life’s many hardships bring bitterness,
   This Word brings sweetness in abundance,
   Like honey that refreshes and delights the soul.

4. When poverty makes you feel worthless,
   It makes you rich like a dealer in precious gems,
   Giving you true and lasting treasure.

5. God’s Word gives wisdom to the ignorant
   And sight to the blind;
