Meaning:

The Savior shed His blood upon the cross,
And gave His life for me.
He took away the curse and burden of my sin
And, in His mercy, came to save me.

Even before the world was created,
He knew me in my helplessness.
He had already prepared the way of salvation for me.
What an amazing and wonderful love!

2.
The Son who lived in the Father's presence in heaven
Came down into this world searching for me.
He gave His own life
So that I might live.

3.
Through the blood He shed on the cross,
He forgave all my sins.
He took away my sorrow,
Removed the hostility between us,
And filled my heart with joy.

4.
I fall before His wounded feet,
Pierced by the nails,
And bow down in worship.
He alone is worthy
Of my thanksgiving and praise,
Today and forever.
