Let us take up our cross and move forward courageously.
Let us follow the path
That Jesus, our Lord, has walked before us.

We are surrounded by a great community of witnesses.
So there is no need to fear.
Let us run the race before us
And finish it faithfully.

Let us throw off every sin that clings so closely
And every burden that weighs us down.
Let our eyes always remain fixed
On Jesus our Lord.

Our Leader, who made a way
Even through the midst of the Red Sea,
Is going ahead of us.
So we have no reason at all
For sorrow or discouragement.

Let us praise our Lord,
Who broke the power of death,
Rose again, and lives forever.
As His faithful people on earth,
Let us complete our journey
Worshiping and serving Him.
