   Thalarnnoren jeevithame
   Thalarnnoren jeevitham kurishil thanalil shaanthi kandathinaal
   Thalaraathini vaanavirivil chirakadich-uyarnnidum viravil-
    
2. Sneham nirayum thirumozhi shravichu mal
   Klesham marannidum njaan
   Thiru mozhiyaananda naadam, thenilum madhuram than vedam
   Tharum enikkanantha sammodam theerkkumen maanasakhedam
    
3. Ethu khora vipathilum bhayannidaa-thavanil njaan aasrayikkum
   Avanilenn aashrayam ennaal avaniyil aakulam vannaal
   Avashatha yanayukil annaal avan thuna-yarulidum nannaay

Meaning:

I am Your servant, resting each day with my head beneath the cross.
In the loving shelter of the cross, beneath its cool shade of grace,
At the feet of my beloved Lord, I find freedom from every fear and sorrow.

My life had grown weary, burdened with the heavy load of sin.
But my tired soul found peace beneath the shadow of the cross.
Now I will not grow weary; soon I will rise and soar
With wings toward the open heavens.

I listen to Your loving words and forget all my troubles.
The joyful sound of Your words—Your Word, sweeter than honey—
Brings me everlasting joy
And takes away the sorrow from my heart.

Whatever terrible danger may come, I will not be afraid; I will trust in Him.
When He is my refuge, even when trouble comes upon me in this world,
And I become weak and helpless,
He will surely come to my aid and sustain me.
