Meaning:

1.
I have faith in the gracious Lord,
and because of that, my heart has such wonderful comfort.
Though this earthly life is filled with troubles,
His grace makes it beautiful.

Grace, grace alone is my refuge—Hallelujah!
Grace, grace alone is my joy.
Even when enemies come against me,
even when they rise up against me,
His grace is always enough for me.

2.
His grace gives me strength when I am weak,
and becomes a refreshing shade of joy in the wilderness.
It gives me light each day
when I walk through dark paths.
His grace alone is my refuge.

In my lowly and difficult condition,
He remembered me.
He broke the strength of my fiercest enemy
and held me close in His hands.
I will sing songs of thanksgiving to Him.

4.
Even when countless troubles and difficulties come,
He is always on my side.
The One who gave His own life for me
will continue to lead me by His grace.
