   Bhoovil vannu paarthavan
   Paapikale thedi vanna rakshakan
   Paapam neekkaan yaagamaayi theernnavan
    
2. Alpajnaanikale jnaaniyaakkuvaan
   Sathyamaam vachanamonnu maathrame
   Sathyavum krupayum niranje vannavan
   Sathyathil vazhi nadathi paalikkum (2)
    
3. Koorirul niranja lokayaathrayil
   Koodeyundennaruli cheytha naadane
   Krooshinte vachanathaal prakaashichum
   Ethu paathayilum namme karuthidum (2) 

Meaning:

The message of the cross is the power of God,
And it is precious for gaining the wisdom of God.
It gives life-giving strength forever
And makes our lives truly blessed. 

1. He who was the Word in the beginning
   Took on flesh and came to live among us.
   He came as the Savior seeking sinners
   And became the sacrifice to take away sin.

2. To make the simple wise,
   There is only one true Word.
   He came full of truth and grace,
   And He will lead us in truth and keep us. 

3. In this dark and difficult journey through the world,
   O Lord, You promised that You would be with us.
   Through the message of the cross, You shine Your light
   And protect us on every path.
