In the presence of Christ,
Under His gracious shadow, I will dwell.
There beside Him, I will gladly stay,
Singing songs of praise.

In times of trial and seasons of pain,
He comforts me with words of grace,
Takes away my sorrow,
And fills my heart with joy.

The pleasures and blessings of this world
Often lead to sorrow and disappointment.
But the lasting peace I long for
Can be found nowhere except in Christ.

He is the support of those who are hurting;
He is the One who brings healing.
When my heart is troubled by deep pain and suffering,
He is the Lord who fills me with joy.

Until the day I reach my eternal home,
I will keep serving without seeking rest,
Living and working for the glory
Of His holy and precious name.
