Soldiers of Christ, sound the trumpet of salvation!
The King of kings from Judah is going before us.
He is leading the way for us—so let us go!

The One who said, “I am sending you out
Like sheep among wolves,” is with us.
He is the Shepherd and Protector of Israel;
He will never leave us.

Even if our own people and relatives turn away from us,
He remains faithful and His word never changes.
He is right beside us as our refuge;
So let us go forward without fear.

As we continue our journey through this world,
Even when the hardships of the wilderness increase,
He will shelter us beneath His wings
And we will hide safely in His loving presence.

Travelers on the road to heavenly Zion,
Sing songs of joy!
The One who called us will lead us in triumph
Until we finally reach heavenly Canaan.
