O people of Christ, let us rejoice—victory is ours!
He conquered death and rose again, removing our fear.
He surely gives us eternal, blessed life.
What a wonderful thing!

The life of this world grows more corrupt day by day,
and its difficulties and troubles continue to increase
for God's children.
Remember this: even this world was never worthy
of our Lord Jesus.

Even though we may be living in the midst of darkness,
our beloved Lord is already before us.
He will shine His beautiful light upon our path
and lead us forward.
What joy this gives us!

4.
Even if our loved ones turn away from us
and treat us as though we were enemies,
and even if people all around us
try to fill us with fear,
Christ alone cares for us
more deeply than even our own mother.

5.
Because we are strangers and pilgrims in this world,
this struggle of earthly life
may sometimes feel like a heavy burden.
But it will not last forever;
it is only for a short time.
Soon it will be over,
and we will enter heaven.

6.
He will give us strength
to stand firmly against the enemy.
Clothed with that strength,
let us all fight the good spiritual battle here on earth.
He will give us the courage to fight well,
and He is coming soon!

7.
We can see the signs of the end times
happening before our eyes.
So lift up your heads—our redemption is near!
All these things were foretold
in the words He spoke long ago.
There is no reason to doubt;
His promises will surely be fulfilled.
