1.
We are true witnesses of Christ;
We are the brave soldiers of the cross.
We are strangers and pilgrims in this world,
But citizens of heaven.

Let us gather eagerly and sing
Songs of victory and praise.
Let us lift high the message of the cross—
The Gospel—throughout the whole nation.

Let us rise and leave behind our laziness.
Let us fight the battle without growing weary.
In this generation of unbelief,
Let us live as courageous people of faith.

Multitudes of people are wandering in darkness;
Sadly, they are suffering and perishing.
As witnesses of Jesus our Savior,
Let us proclaim the way of salvation to them.

4.
No matter how great the opposition becomes,
No matter how fiercely our enemies resist us,
Let us never stumble or lose our way.
Let us take up our cross
And faithfully follow Jesus.

5.
Though we carry rejection and suffering today,
Let us continue to exalt the name of the Most High.
And when we are finally brought into His presence,
He will give us a crown of gold
And welcome us to Himself.
