1. O you who follow Christ, love one another!
Remember that this is His greatest commandment.

You who are Christ’s disciples, love one another,
and day by day let us keep the holy fire of love burning brightly.

2. You have been born anew through an imperishable seed;
therefore turn away from the desires of this world
and from everything that dishonors God.

3. We have one Father, one Lord, and one Spirit.
We have one hope and one table,
for we are all members of Christ.

4. All distinctions of wealth, status, and background have been removed.
Through the blood of the cross,
we have all become sons and daughters
through the Holy Spirit.

5. The Son came and freely gave salvation to everyone.
Even today, we have nothing else
in which we can boast.

6. True devotion must shine
through a life of loving devotion.
Without love, everything we do
is worthless before God.

7. By God’s grace, the flame of love
burns within our hearts.
As it burns,
hardness and impurity are consumed.

8. A life of love is the life of God,
for God Himself is love.
When we love one another,
God dwells in us,
and we dwell in Him.

9. A life of love is heavenly life;
heaven itself is filled with love.
There, forever,
the divine bond of love
will be made perfect.
