In the days gone by, I sadly walked according to my own desires.
Oh, how much of that time was wasted!
From now on, Lord, You lead me.
Forgive the wrongs I have done,
For Your grace alone is my hope.

You have given me Your grace until this very day;
Continue to lead me along the road
Of wilderness, mountains, and rocky paths.
When morning comes, I will reach my heavenly home
And see the loved ones who went ahead of me.
