          Kristheshu naayakan vaanil vannidume
          Dootharodothu than shudhare cherkkuvaan
          Ha! ethrayaanandam orkkilennullathil
          Ha! enthumodame-swargeeya vaasame!-

1.  Lakshyangalengume kaanunnu sodaraa
   Naalkal sameepamaay karthan varavinnaay
   Unarnnu khoshikkaam vaazhthi sthuthichidaam
   Swarloka naadhanaam yeshu maheshane-
    
2. Aashwaasamillaathe lokar valayumbol
   Aashwaasam nalkidum thanmakkalkkennume
   Aananda gaanangal paadidum shudharum
   Aanandamodavar cherum than sannidhau-
    
3. Kristheshu naadhanaay kashtam sahichavar
   Than thirunaamathil thinmakalettavar
   Vaangum prathiphalam doother sadassathil
   Santhosha poornnaraay theernnidum annavar-
    
4. Kaahala shabdavum kettidaan kaalamaay
   Marichorakshanam uyirkkum thejassil
   Chernnidum shudharum swargga kanaanathil
   Vaazhum yugaayugam thejassil poornnaraay-

Meaning:

Jesus Christ the Lord will come from heaven,
To gather His holy ones together with the angels.
Oh, what joy fills my heart when I think of it!
Oh, what delight it will be to dwell in heaven!

Signs of the end are everywhere, dear brother;
The day of the Lord’s coming is drawing near.
Let us wake up and proclaim it,
Let us praise and worship
Jesus, the great Lord and King of heaven.

While the people of this world struggle without comfort,
He will always give comfort to His children.
The holy ones will sing songs of joy,
And with great rejoicing
They will gather in His presence.

Those who suffered for the sake of Christ their Lord,
Those who endured hardships for His holy name,
Will receive their reward
In the presence of the angels.
Then they will be filled with complete and everlasting joy.

The time has come to hear the sound of the trumpet.
The dead will rise again in glorious splendor.
The holy ones will be gathered together
In heavenly Canaan,
And they will live forever in perfect glory.
